I'm ridiculously excited!!

Idea behind it is that Reggie will be our main car, so I want him as comfortable as possible!

Good day today, Reggie-wise!!

We've cleaned up the garage, so that we can actually get to him!

So, this is where we started off this morning:




We cleaned up all the surfaces so everything was nice and shiny!




We had offered the inner wing up before, and there wasn't too much fettling to do (It's a Rover one) - But enough! We offered it up again, made a few little adjustments here and there, but it all went together pretty well in the end!

Thought we would give the spot welder an outing!




And, at the end of the day, we left him like this!




A lot of the spot welds are done, apart from the ones we can't get to! We need longer arms on the welder!


Really, really really pleased!!


Also, we've decided that the top dash rail is too far gone, so we're going to have to replace that as well - But we have a Heritage one of those to put in!

A good day's work, methinks

Good progress Bean, spot welders make things so much easier.

It's amazing! I do love the spot welder! Just need some longer arms to get in, but they're rather pricey!

Really pleased with the progress yesterday - It was so nice to put some metal back on! :)
