i agree that teh cobra clubman seats to seem a bit cheap, and to be honest, i just dont like them....
i decided to get an FIA approved seat when i got mine, and this instantly led me to the monacos....
in an attempt to be different i went for the vinyll seat with red piping from huddersfield spares. most monacos around are in fabric, and people are often very impressed with my seats because they are different....
its a modern styled FIA approved seat in a more classic looking finish....
i think tehy are AWESOME!!!!
BUT....
one downside....
sadly, i think cobra have gotten a pretty bad anme due to some pretty poor quality control issues around this time last year....
my seats wernt of the best quality.
but i simply decided to live with it and i used them for 9 months....
until one day i was at the local upholsterours and he noticed my seats....
he said they wernt too great for 9 month old seats, and suggested i do something about it.
one call to cobra direct and tehy instantly sent me a brand new pair of seats, and admited they had some manufacturing issues around the time my seats were made.
the new seats tehy sent me are MUCH better made, teh stitiching is perfect, and tehy seem all together FAR better.
i still havnt fitted the new seats yet, as im waiting until i fit my rollcage to fit it all at once.
cobra are a top company....
sure clubmans are cheap, but u get what u pay for.
they arnt really 'bucket seats' they are inexpensive 'bucket' style seats, which look good, but dont really compare to a decent FIA approved seat....
having sat in a few of the common seats, cobra clubmans, corbeau clubmans, forzas and such like, i definately prefer the monacos, which is why i bought them

at least take a look....
huddersfield do good packages, and tehy arnt really a whole lot more cash than the clubmans
