personally ive been told bad things about the cobras, i.e bad fitting, dodgy build quality and quickly fading material.

I quite like sparcos seats but i cant find out where to get them, anyone know where i can buy em from, internet wise

In my opinion Cobras are overpriced rubbish. I got some direct from Cobra, and they retrimmed my bench at the same time. The seats didn't fit to their own make subframes which I ordered at the same time and so I had to file big lumps out of the frames to make the holes line up. The subframe holds the seat in the wrong place in the car so that the floor pan deforms where the rear leg sits on it. The fabric (Cobra Rock fabric) faded from bright blue to an awful grey colur in about 18 months. The seat backs and bases have collapsed almost completely now, even in the passenger seat which is hardly used. I wouldn't buy from them again.

Well I really like the speedwell buckets some of the companies (including MiniSpares) sell. They have a kind of lower side so I think it is still quite easy to make it work with a 4 point harness.

Got my bucket seat today, great service from the person I bought it from on Ebay!!!). Fitted when I got home, I think the back legs on the subframe have been chopped down at some point because the back sits very low (I'll get pics tomorrow), nothing a piece of wood ain't fixing at the mo!!! I'll show ya, Jody next time we meet up (would help if I got two though!?).

I'm not sure which make it is, I know its quite old, may a Speedwell, good just be an old Cobra or something.

Another person that hates them, there cheap and you get what you pay for :nugget:

anyone seen the corbeau 2004 clubmans? ive been told these are good and there at a reasonable price too

Definitely up for that meet.

Went out in the bucket last night (doesn't sound right!). I now sit quite low down in the car, but it definitely feels more racey. I think they are certainly more comfy than the standard seats as well.

helo they are the 'clubman' ones there 100 qwid per seat and if u buy the pacage from hudersfield then theyle give u free subframes! these have the hole for harneses to! here is an old pic of the mini

I'm still not really too sure what to go for, i do like the cobra clubmans and i do like the way they look in miniman5's pic above, just think they give the egde im looking for in a bucket seat, but at the sam time not too "in ya face" if that makes sense,

maybe money spending time tomorrow i thinks!!!!!
