in my mini performance manual it says that at the time of writing(august 2002) there were 117,504 mini saloons and estates and 1771 pick-ups and vans registered on the road.
but i rekon there must be double that in all the projects ect. stored in peoples back gardens and garages.

I've seen these figures quoted a lot, but does anyone know if these are worldwide figures or just Britain? And if they are Britain only then do the CKD kits get included or not?

1969 was indeed the first year for Clubman production.
So are there any figures for all the other factories? It would be interesting to know a complete total of production.

yeh Oz minis in general are cool, they are all different from our minis but only in subtle ways. The cluby estates for instance have extenal hinges and shorter doors like our mk1s and rather than sliding side windows have van quater panels with the shape cut out. Bet they are really rare! Apparently pickups are rarer than water over there to.

Or Belgium, Portugal, Chile and the others either presumably. It is a shame not to know the real number. The figure will probably turn up somewhere one day.
