Can you get hold of 8x13 starmag rims. I can only find 7x13?

probably because they dont make 13x8 star mags

as far as i know the only main stream wheels that come in 13x8 as alleycats

and i drove a mini yesterday with standard 12's on it, didnt like the feel to be honest.

thats one way to ruin a mini. 12's are brilliant, 10's are better still!

8 inch wide on a mini, EEK! it will kill your arms after an hour of driveing.

Well i was not going ot have 13x8 all round only on the back im going to put 18x7's on the front. i was gogin to the steped out look.

Make sure you stock up on wheel bearings and swivel pins

well in conclusion:

Only the only mainstream 13x8's are alleycats so unless you want thouse you will have to find somthing else with the stud patern of 4x100mm
13x7's will be fine for bearings on the front, everyone exagerates, im running 13x7 and its fine.
13x8's on the back shouldnt be too bad as rear bearings dont take as much punishment as the front so if you can find some i recon got for it!

also if your going for the steped look split rims look amazing so consider that

also, i thought the mini pcd was 4x4" which was just over 100mm so the 100mm ones don't fit without the help of a mallet

Mini is 101.4mm..

4x100mm pcd will fit but it wont take long before studs will snap due to bending. mini is 4x4 inch pcd, the metric equivalent would be 4x101.4mm
