I'm stuck

I've got a frame... All i want is for the user to click a picture and it moves to a designated frame.... how?


i don't understand and this has gotta be finished tonight!


Anybody got any ideas?

Hollys gettting good at flash now so what do you want to do ?

The user moves the the desinated frame or the image move?

If it is the user you need a button

right click convert to symbol > button

I'm making a portfolio in flash... just a simple box screen thing....

I've got the main picture on screen and a load of little thumbnails down the left hand side.

I just want the main picture to change when the person clicks the thumbnail... but i can't work out how

ok few things to note

on the actions layer i have put a stop in each key frame so that it stops playing on and on

stop();

I converted the little thumbnails into buttons then added instructions into there actions bit

example: (15 being the frame)

on (release) {
	gotoAndPlay(15);
}

Do this to all of you buttons before adding the key frames so they stay buttons all the time Hope this helped

I totaly agree you Jammy was the first thing the attempted to teach us at uni and you should have seen my efforts silly bouncing sheep! In my course we learn a bit off everything PHP, SQL action script but my favourite has to be lingo

Seems silly really they havent bothered to teach us about CSS which i need to know about?! or javascript
