I read somewhere that zcars or someone could supply fibreglass shells for the steel shelled conversion. Can anyone tell me if this is true. I'm wondering if they were getting mixed up with the monte carlo shell.

Thanks

Tom

its true we are in the final stages of having a specific shell to accept the Z cars kits both for road and race
this has been talked about since january last year and its with our freinds bungle and the stig
we have the first prototype shell at Z cars now so we can adapt our kits to fit the shell which is de seamed and has 2" smaller windows and 1.75 " out of the sides as well
looks very good and will be a godsend for anyone wanting a new shell that wont rot
it will come in coloured grp so you dont need to spray it and its already "cut out" so as to speak so you dont have any messy cutting out to do
this will save time and money over a steel shell
we plan to fit our race spec kits to the shells and are sorting out an SVA freindly steering column and wilwood bias pedal box all as std for the kits
looks like a full spec race car will come in kit form for £18995 including vat thats for everything brand new including a 2007 hyabusa motor from the wheels up including such things as the fire extinguisher etc etc
if you choose to put the car on the road then theres afew more bits to add like lights wiring loom extra seat etc etc but the big advantage is you can register it as brand new like ade did with his car
im hoping to bring the first car to the mini show at stafford if i have time to build it first impressions are very good though and this car will fill the gap between a steel bodied car and the full on monte carlo

if you put them on photobucket you can copy and paste the IMG code underneath it in a post

or

click on the attachments bit on a full reply, choose the file, click attach, then repeat until all files you want are done.

then post as usual
