And it is always difficult to sell a car near Christmas/ in the winter. So if you decided to sell up soon it would go for less than it's actual value or not at all.

sorry but all this fiat s*** is bull tbo alot of people say same about vauxhall and IMO are not as good

i work at a alfa garage and fiat/alfa and ferrari are all the came company and use same system to order parts they come next day and are also done by chassis number on the vehicle. also deal with PDH in worthing and i know they have been very helpfull to lois bout her last punto where as the place where she got her corsa from are butch of w***** and never help (sold car with puncture said they fixed it and they didn't she took it back still doing it when they said they put new tyre on.)

as for the corsa the punto is much better to drive iv drove both her old punto and her new corsa and the punto is better imo and it would suit her nicely, she feels alot more safe in the punto and always saying corsa doesnt feel right, its pulling breaks not working as they should. meh cba to go on and on rant over :-

I've had corsa 3months now and i had punto 15 months and know what i prefer plus i learned to drive in it, so i much prefer it and i don't think because of winter as i learnt to drive and passed test in winter i've been driving a year this sat and i prefer winter.

I can afford to pay off car, how many times i've said that i just can't for another year but i have the £6000 in my bank.

basically, if you feel more comfortable driving the punto (whoch arent as bad as everyone says, as you know) then pay the finance on the corsa and go get yourself a punto.

in the end you have to do whatever makes you feel safer, more comfortable and happier.

Ok this has gone so Off topic now, its not about what car is better.

She obviously wants the Punto instead of the Corsa, end of.

If thats what you want to do then just do it to be honest, but i really wouldn't sell the car but keep the finance going, as technically the finance company still own the car until YOU have paid it all off, so if anything happens, you'll get the sting.

Use the £6000 you have to pay off the finance then your free to do what you want with the Corsa as it would legally be owned by you then. :-

It sounds like you've already made your mind up but...have you considered going round any other dealers to get some weekend test drives on other cars?

Lupo GTI's are great little cars, and you can't beat a German built car, especially for safety!

They don't seem to depreciate much either which is always a bonus. lol

I completely agree, I wouldnt do it but it sounds like you are set on it now, but remember I was with you loads when you had the punto and you complain a lot about it, you even said you wanted a corsa! I just think you will have the punto then see another car you really want and be in the same situation again...

Pfft, you are going to do what you want to do anyway, so it doesnt matter what I think

good luck.
