Beechams honey and lemon, with extra honey and extra lemon juice, to sort out your coldyness, and play some happy hardcore at maximum volume to keep you awake. Sorted.

Erk! That's not a good sign - hopefully you're not at work today so try these;
* Remember your fluids! If you can, get someone to buy you some good quality lemonade or lucazade, so you can maintain your hydration levels.
* Wear lose clothing to maximise heat dissipation.
* Take lukewarm baths, this will lower your core temperature and make the fever more comfortable.
Apart from those, keep dosing yourself with Lemsip and such like and I hope you get better soon!

Yeah, listen to Mr Duck, and don't be tempted to wrap yourself up because you feel cold... it will just make the temp worse
If you've not got Lemsip, take plain old Paracetamol, it lowers your temperature.
Get well soon mate..... Fingers crossed it's gone for Christmas, it's already spoiled your Birthday!!! Nasty cold.....

Get yourself to Boots. Buy some Echinacea Capsules. They'll be in the Herbal Remedies section, get the One-a-day capsules if they stock them (go to a big Boots) they'll be about £5.50 for 60. The 3-a-day tablets are about £4.50 for 60 so don't bother with them if you have the choice.
Take one a day when you start to feel a cold coming in and you will NOT get a cold! Now you have a cold/flu it'll clear up or at least ease off after a few days of taking them.
Trust me I swear by the things. I used to get really bad colds between 3 and 5 times a year. I keep some Echinacea tablets in the house and whenever I get a sniffle or sore throat I start taking them, and you wouldn't believe the difference. Haven't had a cold for nearly a year now I felt a cold coming on a couple of weeks back, started taking them, and bearing in mind I work outside 95% of the time, I (cross fingers) haven't come down with anything so far
They're natural herbal things, now I dont usually believe in all that C**p but they boost the immune system as long as you only take them when you feel a bit iffy, because like anything, if you take it all the time your body becomes so used to it, the effects wear off.
EDIT - forgot to mention the medical profession don't back them because they havent seen any incontrovertible proof that they work, but it was in the Metro newspaper a few months ago that some research has been done and they do have an effect on colds, obviously they're not a cure but I bet you anything they'll work.
