I was giving the car over a month ago befor i was giving it it was sat in a garage for a good 6 years unstarted so i decided to tray and start it today but with no luck i noticed i never had a spark so i went and brought a new set of points and a condenser fitted these and tryed again still with no luck any ideas what this could be?
Ive also checked the fuses

no spark eh,... and you've changed the points and condensor,... Really you need to be changing or cleaning the dizzy cap and rotor arm too...

looks like ill have to replace the dizzy cap and rotor arm oh well will have to wait till the shops are open

are you getting a spark from the coil?? because you can change the dizzy cap, rotor arm etc but if the coil is dead you get no spark.

cheapest option first in my book, check the rotor arm and dizzy cap, save the coil till last... it's usually blamed for everything under the sun when really it's quite alright.

Did you adjust the point gap? Just thinking that if not (something i would do!) then it probably would mean no spark!
*You may not need a new dizzy gap, take it off and clean up the contacts, check the rotor arm has movement and perhaps give the end of it a bit of a clean and try that, its free so why not give it a go *

New set of HT leads probly won't hurt too, especially if its been sat around for 6 years

If it's not been started for 6 years, you need to check for things like oil and whether it will turn over by hand. Put some fresh fuel in it etc.

i would start from the coil too then trace it up to the plugs. check the coil connections too.
