hi people i plan on puting and inline switch on mi live feed 2 mi ignition barrel ,and hide de switch so it wrks as a imbosiliser :grin: ,however i cnt find any wer nt 2 obvious 2 hide it can any 1 give me ideas or advice if uve fitted 1 urself

You will need a switch which is capable of taking a high current otherwise it will melt! :rolleyes:
Erm, What about underneath the Dash rail. Or on the cross section...

You could put a switch in the boot or under the rear bench seat.

Just pull the coil HT lead before leaving yer car overnight! works for me...

It is possible to take one plug lead off and fit it from the coil to the dizzy, so taking one lead isn't really secure. A Mini will start on two cylinders so three's a doddle.

i use the switch under the dash approach, just splice it into the ignition and if you've hidden the switch well enough, then its not going anywhere

Or just stick it right on your dash, but use a hazard light switch or something so its disguised, that way, its always to hand, but only you knows what it does. Just make sure you tape the wires with everything else so no one else can trace the wires to your ignition!

tee hee done this many times befor... totaly useles.... brought some mdf from do it all and put it in and jumped in started it up and drove off lol pulled straight over and swaped them back lol

minis run and drive on 3 cilinders shaky but ok lol i would suspect it would run on to but not drive to!.



best place to put that swich mate is under you seat!
