hello people im new to this and this is my first mini....

its a bit of a jigsaw but im gettin there, now the person before me put underseal on the car and truthfully did a bad job and its flaking in places, when i investigated i found that he hadnt keyed or cleaned the surface before, so i am taking it off, currently havign to use a heat guna and scraper then wire wheel the area then put the paint on underseal on.... its goin ok and its sticking however its taking decades is there anyway i can speed this up......

please someone help...... :D

if it was a bare shell you could get it bead blasted

Hi having spent a huge amount of time removing underseal I can sympathise. I ended up with a rag, a brush and a large tin of thinners. Paint the thinners on, give them a few seconds to penetrate the underseal and rub them off with the rag.

It's still time consuming but (in my experience) a lot easier than other methods.

local paint shop. :D

if you have one, motorists shops sell it.

Thinners wise, Buy a large tub of white spirit this will do the trick.

thinners is better, white spirit won't remove certain underseals
