I'm bringing the stealth... which will be rebuilt between now and may.
engine out next week, to be stripped and have piston rings replaced (i have a spare 1380 block if needed) and will be fitted with the 2.76:1 final drive once its back in and rolling roaded, the nitrous will be set up ready for a final rolling road. I'm aiming to be done for about June... including a respray.

Leigh - The rover might be cult, but the transporter is wheeeeey cooler
Biggav - Why a 2.76 FD why not a 3.44?? 3.44s are the only FD i will use now.

Last year, i took the mini on the parade lap with the roofrack fully loaded. I also did the 1/4 mile with the roofrack, again fully loaded, and all my camping gear in the back. Wasnt too impressive though, but saying that, running a shagged 1293 on 10s and a 3.1 FD isnt exactly 1/4 mile material. Marksmini has a video of the 1/4 mile.
Heres a pic befor the parade lap of the ring last year, you can JUST make out the fully loaded rack on my mini, which is on the left (just infront of the open white door)
Me and Dave (mighty_mini) dressed as members of "The Aquabats" hence the silver headgear, and goggles lol.
Also the reverse rims are being replaced for the meatyer looking wellers (like the ones on the front)

the 1380 was around 110bhp on a stage 3, it's now stage 4 with a better exhaust, inlet and carb.... and giggle gas making it up to around 150bhp though the digital controller will give more or less as required.

But still id imagine a 3.44 would go better than a 2.7. Or at least a 3.1

it's not about acceleration... having done Riviera run and L2B last year, 70mph is enough to make me deaf for a week.
