Hello to you all,

I bought a mini over a month ago and it is still with the seller, purely because I have no way to transport it. It is not in a road worthy state at the moment.

What I want to know is, what car transportation companies do people suggest? also how much would I be expecting to pay? It would be from Weymouth to Hampshire. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I have no idea what I'm going to do

There are several people who advertise on ebay who move cars. I'd expect to pay iro of £1per loaded mile as a minimum

any transport companies tend to charge £1 a mile, I spoke to several when I was looking at buying a car far away. But probably easier for you to find someone with a towbar and hire a trailer, wouldnt be too bad I dont think.

Just wondering if anyone who has bought a non-road worthy can tell me what they did?

trailered it home. :- managed to borrow a trailer off my dad's friend who does a lot of racing.

you can use an A frame or a dolly, but the car being towed must have mot and tax, and be road legal as its tecnically being towed. using a trailer, it doesnt matter.
