Anyone going? ive just booked my ferry from newcastle to amsterdam. Going over for a week with the local mini club, so will get a bit of a holiday too.

How does this one work? Me and my dad are really keen to go.

Do we have to book with a mini club or do you arrange your own way there?

You can book single or with your club if there going.

Its 70 euros per person i believe which includes camping and meals over the weekend.

Ferry from north sheilds, newcastle to amsterdam is 264 return.

We are going as a club booking (tynemouth mini club) and theres about 10 of us so far i think. Get the BBQ and the gazebo out etc.

Well I'm going! But its just an hours drive for me

Not sure how I'm going to sign up tho, I'm not too sure about how much i like my current club, so I might just sign up individually

Just over a hours drive for me too. I live 20mins away from the ferry and i am told its a hours drive from the ferry docking in holland.

Something daft like 13hrs on the ferry between though.

From amsterdam it should be one hour and 15 minutes-ish indeed.

I can show you all the local windmills if you plan on spending your 'vacation' in holland aswell

there are several of us from Central minis going - the crossing we are looking at only takes an hour or so.

lol I'm taking my gun this year Teapot!! Thank goodness I took earplugs, I think I must have been the only one that slept through the night with that "lady" shouting at the top of her voice a Zagreb word beginning in "F"!!!

I'm hoping to go to this (get free travel to Ijmuiden so got no excuses actually probably wont if the ships are full DOH ) but I have a sneaky feeling I'm on my 4 on at work for the whole thing

A group of us from Norfolk Minis will be going. we're on the overnight ferry from Harwich to the Hook on the thursday night.
