Where is the height taken from? Is it just the roof line or are the wings and toher parts such as the bonnet lower?

I believe there is 2" taken from the between the waist and the roof, and then a further 2" taken from below the waist.

Not that Jammy is wrong but the height is taken by 2 inches from the pillars and 1 ¾ inches from the body.
As for fitting a Vaux engine under it…I was also thinking about that. Could always put a Clubman front on!
No progress with this at the moment as I and my helper have been busy with other things.

Can you explain the SVA deal to me.
I assume that the car should retain most/all of it's original parts to qualify?
Therefore will it retain the original plate and tax status?
Will it be registered on a Q plate?
