Ok..so ive just won a drivers rear inner arch on good old Ebay just waiting for it being delivered, Can somebody give me a few hints n tips on how to fit it ? Will the rear subframe need to come out ? ;)

Take a look at the 25's project pages (towards the end) as I ended up doing both arches on that.

To do it properly and have space to work, yes it does ideally need removing, although you might just get away with just removing the radius arm, although i haven’t done that myself.

Has anybody succeeded putting in a rear arch without removing the rear subby ?

how badly rusted is your arch ?

can you chop off the rust and use the new arch as a repair patch and not replace the whole thing

No its pretty bad looking from the inside of the car (looking at the rear arch) and its already been patched up by the previous owner so would rather replace the whole thing.

it would be alot more difficult to attempt it. for the time spent taking off the subby, youll slice the time of carrying out the repair. If ya goin the right way about doing it all properly, then might as well do the whole lot properly!
