I have started putting the shelves in in the back section.. without them, my toolbox's and kit bags fill the floor hopefully, i should be able to be fully loaded and still have enough room to fit a large pallet in the back. just bought some seats on ebay for the middle section and will be picking them up tomorow.

I have also put a panel in above the front cab for speakers and to put camping stuff and dvd's in for the kids.

For the rest of today, i'm in bed. One side is bruised quite badly.

I wasn't expecting the pain during the op... I was expecting the discomfort afterwards and my wife to be a complete tool.

the worst bit was the initial examination and the anaesthetic.. which they don't warn you about!!!!
Doc said "you will feel a sharp scratch NOW" :D "and now a rather strange sensation like you just got kicked in the balls" :crazy: which went on for the duration.

Once you have finished the conversion, get it onto a weigh bridge so you know legally what you can carry, as the hand books are very deceptive.

pmsl at bungle.

Seeing as nobody else has said it, can I be the first to say it will look like the pikeys have arrived whenever you turn up somewhere, what with the big tranny van full of kids and probably a load of scrap copper in the back. :D

*legs it*

just what the wife said, we got it on friday and found that the Picasso had a flat... with rim protecting tires that self destruct but don't damage the alloy :D .. and no one stocks them... and they cost £239 each... so i ordered the tyre and put the kids seats in the van. we went shopping on the saturday and she had her face hid all the way. but no one messed with us!!!! :D and we parked in disabled spaces and no one dared point out the error of our ways. (last bit isn't true.)

P.S. was back at work today.. walking like john wayne and i got the shelves fitted in the rear section of the van.

Shelves in the back. (working side of bulkhead)
[attachment=48081:DSCF2379.JPG]

Pretty side of bulkhead... with some speakers!!!!
[attachment=48082:DSCF2378.JPG]

And some carpet!!

[attachment=48083:DSCF2380.JPG]
Seats are being removed and i have 4 to replace them which will go back against the bulkhead and give some room for more speakers... and carpet!!

[attachment=48084:DSCF2377.JPG]

A little bitty bulkhead above the front seats to house more speakers, amps, screens and a little storage. Lower bulkhead will have some 8" kevlar beasts, and a 12" sub woofers and some channeled hot air straight from the heater.

I bought a Garmin sat nav for £100 and a reversing camera which can be connected to the dvd player in the front and stop me hitting stuff. It's a ripspeed head unit with loads of leads for 5.1 surround and extra screens etc... more to follow.
