what do people think about using a bonnet pull lock thing on my boot to open it? i thought about using a bonnet interior pull thing to open my boot by feeding the cable down along the inside of my car and into the boot and then some how fixing the mechanism so when i pulled the handle the boot was released and it opened. i was thinking about mounting the handle either in the back or down near the bottom on my seat next to the door cill. the only problem i could think of would be running the cable through in such a way that it doesnt catch on anything and that when i pull it the boot actually undoes. if anyone thinks it might work or can see some fatal floors in this idea then please let me know otherwise i think i might try it and see what happens.

the only flaw i can see is if you puled the handle from inside the car, you would have to run round to the back to catch the boot before it fell down! ive tryed to smooth the boot with a soleniod kit from ebay, but encountered the same problem/s as you. i hope to hear from you if you find a good way as i am still looking. . .

you could do that, or fit the bonnet safety catch as well (the one that stops the bonnet flying open when the catch goes wrong), so you pop the boot, but it only opens an inch or so, then just push the safety catch out the way to open it fully.
