One of my speakers has broken. I tried disconnecting it, so just having one for now, but nope, that disconnects both.

It buzzes when the bass line comes in to the song im listening to, and its really annoying.

Anyway, I cant spend much but need some help and advice.

Need to get them replaced before Bingley because I have a long journey that weekend and am NOT doing it without music!!

I could just replace them but all the speakers of that size that I have seen are too expensive. I just want basic cheapy ones, dont need to have it on really loud..

I was thinking about leaving the broken ones in and getting ones put into my air vent holes then when I have more money replacing the back ones. Leaving them in would only be to make it not look so messy for the time being, dont really want holes in the back.

Ive got a CD player and a CD changer thing, and I dont want to buy speakers and then find out they dont connect to my CD player..

What do you suggest? Please help :D :D

If you dont want to replace the rear ones yet, then you can use the airvent holes no probs, wouldn't be a problem connecting up at all, easy.

How much are you looking to spend on some small ones for the front???

If you need a hand gimme a shout.

oh so many offers! Thanks guys. Can see some pics please, if possible

I think the air vent holes in my dashboard are about 9cms

and the speakers I have in the back that broke are like 18cm circular speakers....

the holes i have in the dash for the 10cm pioneers are 10cm so they fit flush against the dash. Let me know if you'd like them Raz, as said before I don't mind spending 15 mins wiring them up for you if you come to collect. Can't say fairer than that lol. The rears are 13cm Pioneer 3 ways with a rear shelf which would cover up any holes your old speakers would leave.

Wilson

no worries. shout if you need a hand - depends on the weather though!

and i got some scratches to polish out, and a new wheelarch to buy because someone clipped the mini because they decided to change lanes. never mind, i never have much luck when it comes to that.

currently enjoying a bottle of magners which i got on my way home. might see if i can blag my way out of work tomorrow as it was a mission getting back to horsham, took me an hour to go 15 miles because all the roads out of cuckfield were flooded or busy.
