i find my clio DCI very good and very very cheap to run


And oh so very camp!!!! how is mobile hairdressing?

Get a Bini Mk1 cooperS and i'll do a little tweeking for you!!!! :) may need to uprate the clutch though as the last one we did lasted 25 minutes!!!!!


In all honesty, I was looking at something diesel...
Gav, you've built the darn things, whats the build quality like?

Or would I be better off with something else from the German lands?

No way!!

I will not touch Fiat's! I thought Mini were reliable enough to break down, but Fiat's are worse!

damn right :angel: I think they look quite snazzy! :ermm:

And all the talk about Fiats being unreliable is rubbish :) I've had mine for 3 years and I've only broken down twice... once when I blew the headgasket and the other, snapped the earth cable. It's not got a spot of rust on it, it's done 98,000 miles... and for a 9 year old car, it's fantastic :angel:

You wont touch Fiats, yet you are contemplating getting a BMW 'mini' :)

I dont like FIATS either but some are alright, the new500 is lovely!!

Why not spend the money on getting your van sorted and on the road, then use the rest of completing the vtec swap into Voodoo rather than buying another car.
