Its been a over month since my last real post..

We where doing well last nite until we found the side of our unit was collapsing, the windows falling out of its frame and the power cut out!!

Ooh and i also drilled my friends hand!! loads of blood!!

Anyway... what have i done.... rebuild my Brake master cylinder for the servo... got my adjustable in-line brake bias valve

Got my copper brake set too..

Started to make my dash out of ali

its ok dave, the thumb isnt hurting too bad, tho for the information of others it was a 3mm drill bit up the underside of the thumb nail and it went in about 8 or 9mm. no i didnt cry, im a real man honest

I have read so many different reports on oil coolers, pro's and con's....

Is it worth having one fitted onto a 1293 with upto 100bhp @ wheels... Fast road / Track day car?

i know what you mean dave i have been looking into them aswell.

from what i have come up with they are worthwhile as long as you fit them with a thermostat so they let the oil warm up and get to temperature first.

im going for a mocal 13 row cooler and mocal stat aswell.

theres a good bit of info on the mini spares website.

i got the same, oil cooler cant hurt if the stat aint letting it get used! just on a track or long journey at sped it will get used and it will be worth while having it!

Ok, i will use the cooler with a stat... if its not getting used on the road its not hurting. but will be used on track days!

Last nite we finished making my dash... still needs covering but the shell is made and fits.. well solid.

make sure you can see the dials through the steering wheel before you cut out the holes.. lol.. not that ive done that!! .... looks good mate, when do you hope to have it finished??
