minimag for me. Just seems better layed out, and normally feature cars that I like - and a pleasant lack of barried-up heaps of toss.

i vote mini mag (why are you not surprised) because the mini-world editorial team have outstayed their welcome, by a long long way =]

Mini mag all the way!

Have a variety of feature minis and the tech section is brill.

I Refuse to buy miniworld due to the issues i had with their insurance services last year. The subscription always arriving late (a week after the release in shops) The pages are mostly adverts and most of the minis featured are horrendous. Half of them no longer look like minis. But that is my opinion.

I am new to Minis, so my opinion may not be very valid...............

I bought both to try to learn about Minis (I'm in the US). MiniMag seems to be a little more "mature" in their content. MiniMag is better for learning about the cars from what I have seen so far.

MiniWorld seems to be aimed at a little bit of a younger crowd. I don't really care what kind of beer and music the owner likes, and other owner "information" that is in the articles. I want to know what is original, what was modified, what was a DIY job, performance, etc.

That all said, I will probably buy both for a while. Even though I just admitted to being planted firmly in middle age.

I like both. Minimag is probably a better all round magazine but the miniworld feature cars appeal more to me.

I admit that classifieds were poor last month, but xmas deadlines meant they were only collected over two weeks rather than four. Also that ad minder service means thay can only run for one month. It's going to be dropped for the issue after the one we've just finished. It was designed to protect advertisers on different mags Future publish, but seemingly isn't required on Minimag.

Thanks for the kind comments.

I bought both religiously right from their very beginnings up until the end of 2004 when I kind of lost interest in the Mini scene and everything seemed to be getting repetitive.

Okay so it happens to the best of us? Thankfully I hung on to my Mini because within a few months the bug returned but I only collect Mini Magazine now as there is very little in Mini World that interests me.
