I found it hard to pick just one so: -

History - The Verve video link (Haunting and yet so beautiful!)

Fools Gold - The Stone Roses video link (Always liked this track.)

See Emily Play - Pink Floyd video link (I used to play this over and over again as a kid, even though I was born in the year it first got released.)

Sun Hits The Sky - Supergrass (Loud and lively).

Then - Charlatans (Love the organ at the end).

See I'm not as old as I seem after all.

I can't believe this thread has been running the best part of 3 hours without anyone mentioning 'On days like these@ or anything else Italian job related. does 'Dance of the maidens' from Prince Igor count?

I think tracks of my youth would've been 'Blue Monday' by New Order or pretty much anything off 'Lexicon of love' - ABC. Now i'm well on my way to being an old fogey I really rate the Sex Pistols more than I did back in the day.

I note lots of you have chosen tracks that are at least as old as you are.
