right i cut the rear bins and some of the seat out of my mini yesterday so that i could mount the rollcage, and i came acroos these rust holes in the inner and outer seal at the back, silly question but..... can i get a rear seal kit for that or will i have to plate it up myself??

Got this on mine too. Gonna plate it after cutting all the rot out. Might be a bit tricky getting to the outside part as it comes up infront of the rear subby I think.

yea it does look tricky thats why i wondered if there was a sill kit for the rear you could buy?

What you want to repair that is a pair of rear subframe repair panels, i had to do my at xmas....

You will need to take off the rear subframe and you cant just plate it as it needs to be strong as its a mounting point for your subframe.

right thanks very much one more quick question for ya what about the inside part can i get a rear inner seal repair kit or can that just be plated??

The repair panel you get is stepped shaped, it attaches to the boot floor and then covers the rear subframe mount area and then a small lip of 1-2cm on the floor.
There is also a lip on the front to go around the sill...Any other holes in the area around here will be able to be patched up as you will have full strength back in the mounts.
