If it's done properly then I don't think you get lines anyway..?

Guy.

Oh, ok then, don't worry about it then.

Cheers anyway.

Yeah, it changed in '84.

Search on the DVLA and you will find the exact facts there

i've got dark smoke on my back and rear 2 and its fine never had any problems from police etc but to be honest you could spray paint the back 3 black and you woulden't get any hassle there is no law for them. i woulden't bother with the front anyway i dont like fully blacked out plus hides the ICE nicely 2 :gimme:

sorry to bring up an old thread but im thinking of tinting my windows. Ive had a look at all the websites and my car is a 1981 mini so my windscreen and front windows have to let 70% of light in so i was thinking of this:

windscreen - leave clear
front windows - 20% tint
back windows - 35% tint
rear window - 50%

would this look alright and would it achieve the progressive tint look?

Im thinking of tinting my windows aswell. Ive got a white mini, just with standard black arches and a few chrome bits. I think if its done wiyth a light tint all round, it looks nice. Black looks common. Does anyone know how much a mini costs to lightly tint all windows so its legal?

Thanks

Would these tints be alright, i want the windows to be pregressive so was thinking of this on the front windows

http://cgi.ebay.co.u...GHT-SMOKE-Windo ... dZViewItem

its the front window on the car in the picture

and then this on the back windows and rear screen

http://www.wtfuk.com...talog/WTFUK_COM ... TINTS.html

or would i be better just having the lint tint all the way round?
