It's something like that - it's advertised on the radio and also on the t.v.
I'm pretty sure it's £3 plus standard txt charge though, not £1.50
I used the 83600 number, from what i remember you just include the reg number, mine came back in 2 texts with -
1st Text-
The make/model
The last 4 digits of vin, power, and when registered
Amount of owners
Any colour changes
If stolen
Not scrapped
and a help line if needed
2nd text-
No record of the car being a total loss
It only costs £3 (£1.50 a text i guess)
