Depends what year and brake setup your car is running.
Post 84 cars were fitted with 8.4" Discs and spacered rears. To fit 10's, you need to change most parts (not sure which) to 7.5" Cooper 'S' discs.
Pre 84 cars were fitted with drums all round or the cooper discs and you can fit 10's or 12's to these.

oh nice, I've seen some cooper S discs on ebay methinks.

Going from 12's to 10's...
Assuming you wish to stick with disk brakes and not go back to drums, you will need to convert the 8.4" disks to 7.5" ( or 7.9" which I'll deal with in a mo )
There are a few ways in which this can be done, and none of which are exactly cheap, but assuming you're starting with an 8.4" setup you're halfway there already...
First you will need replacement calipers which will be either genuine cooper 'S' ones ,new or old, or aftermarket 4 pot alloy versions. The cost of any of these will run into the scale of hundreds of pounds.
Second, you will need to change the disk, if you stick with the genuine cooper 'S' calipers you will need genuine 7.5" cooper disks and driveflange, if you opt for 4pot alloys then you can use either the cooper 7.5" disks, machined 8.4" disks turned down to 7.9" or even metro vented disks, again turned down to 7.9", each of which will require the appropriate drive flange. This is not so expensive but will determine your final braking setup.
For reference, if your going from drums, you will need to change the hubs and the outer CV's, and the flexible brake pipes aswell, so sometimes better to find yourself a servicable 8.4" drivetrain first!

In the classifieds at the back of this months mini magazine, there is someone offering a kit to do the conversion. It doesnt have a price on it though, but says "you wont be dissapointed".
Maybe worth a look. If your interested ill get you the number. Might be worth a call.
