well. you could pay £250. or £2500. or, if you went for some super-fancy max-power-esque paint, I imagine you could easily pay £5000.
morale of the story is.....try searching..been covered a few times..

depends on where you go, what colour, what paint, bodywork condition, prep needed etc. there must be as many variables as you get in the 'how much is insurance thread'
Also, its one of those 'you get what you pay for' type things. I say, as a very very rough guess, if you just need the whole exterior blown over to cover some sorted out rust patches, in a simple readily available colour its going to be between £350 - £800. But im not a paint man at all!

well if youre comftable doing that prepping, then why not just do it yourself?
If you take your time you can get a satisfying finish even with rattle cans for a fraction of the price! Theres a good guide on this forum relating to spraying as well. you'd be suprised!

You need to have it looked at by a painter.
We get people ringing often asking 'how much to paint my car?'
And we just cannot realistically answer without seeing the car first!

Take a car to a pro with a bad home-brew paint job and they'll charge you double to sort it out - Know your limitations, trust in professionals.
