all day i have been trying to get teh cylinder head of my mini, and everytime i go outside to do some work, thats when it starts to rain, but as soon as i sit down with a cuppa the sun comes out.

never mind i stript down my new head yesterday and cleaned it all up this morning, and it has had 2 coats of high temp engine enamel paint.

ready for it to go back on the car.

i have managed to get the radiator and mount off the car, and im now going to try and get teh carb of and the head.

the water pump needs to come off also to be changed as my new head doesn't have the pipe at the back going down to the water pump, so the new ish pump needs to be fitted.

how long will i be outside for this time :grin:

Was same here other day. been sunny today tho, so been out and sanded back of car and afew other bits, then sorted out the mass of parts around house, decking garden and garage.

the sun finally came out for me to finish taking it all apart, got the haed off ad the waterpump, with the arb too...

then came inside to make a gasket for the water pump, only to find my lovelly child Adam (yes the little sod for those that know him), had helped paint my head on the kitchen table by adding some oil to the wet paint.. sorry my mistake, i didn't do it and it wasn't me did it,

its nice and sunny down south

did have a bit of rain earlier but ive been stuck inside doin loads of work

What a bunch of Jessies, get out there and work in the rain. I was, but you have to up here as the sun very rarely makes an apperance at this time of year. Finished my interior today, so its time to drive.
