you gave me very good advice with one of my mini problems. i cant remember what it was so i obviously dont have that problem anymore and therefore your advice was spot on! i know it was you because i remember seeing your mini next to it. i think your mini is the most 'stick in my head' mini on this forum!

I've been here a year and a half, with an attempt to learn all about them and learn how to fix my own. But I just feel like I've wasted my time, at the moment. I've still got no idea what I'm doing or what most people are talking about! I feel that I can't really add anything of any value to the forum, due to my distinct lack of knowledge of anything remotely helpful!

You don’t need to be that technically minded to work on a mini, take me for instance half the time I make it up as I go along and half the time it pays off and works out.

Hi jean dont give up on the little cars!!! i know how you feel, as all of us on here do, its all a learning curve.
i think money is most peoples problems spend it more and more and as we all know minis are not the easiest things to keep mint.

Didn't stay away for very long, unfortunately !

Reggie has zero oil pressure (which is possibly fixed, I'm not sure.... i've got a few things to check.), has quite a big leak from the timing cover gasket, needed new brakes and has a worn subby mount!!

So much for doing nothing

You should feel free to come 'n go as you please without any need to explain yourself, besides we'd be much the poorer without your mega piccies 'n Reggie thread.

All cars are liabilities really, but Minis will give you a better return in smiles for all the blood, sweat 'n money.

Was about a week, I think!!!!!!

And even then, I was underneath the car, shouting at Reggie's calipers!!

At least I've got some work done with some photos, I guess!!!!!


I won't be on as much, anyway... I'm just tryin' to get these problems sorted and I'm just praying that my oil pump hasn't gone!

sounds like your your having mares with little reggie at the mo!
dont despair though summer round the corner then you can get more done as its lovely and light till late.
