you can also change the cylinder head for an alloy one, same goes for brake calipers, hubs, drive flanges, radius arms.

carbon fibre roof, boot floor, drill the pedals, titanium front subby (like udo's). Superfins.

there comes a point in chopping out material that you need to add a cage, just to retain the structural integrity of the shell...

Crumple zones may not have been invented but in most of the frontal crashes I have seen for mini the front end seems to have taken the impact and effectively crumpled.
And yet you & wessie both tell him to fit a fibreglass front/lighter panels to lighten it. Make up your minds
Well I wouldnt fit a fibreglass flip front but just informing him of his options.
(But then I would drive around in a fibreglass mini - not thats not making my mind up! )
