Went to the scrappy today to buy a 1275 what was there last week, went there and its gone! The mini has been stripped in the last week of the subframes, engine and its burnt out inside.
So....
we got the scrap mini today for £50

weve cut the back off to replace mine to save a LOAD of work.
Cut the gutering off for repairs.
Going to cut off the panels what can be saved for repair panels.
Going to cut out the floor pans.
A few other peices like parts of the sills.. ect.
And..

A perfect boot floor! Which saves me spending £20 on just a repair panel.

Im well happy with it

Well worth £50

I will post up pics later

We went to see it 6 months ago the day after it went in. The front was gone, gutted by fire but the back was MINT, we had 1 rear light unit, drivers door hinges, gosh i cant remember. The engine was a 998 not 1275 but it was burned fairly badly, he still wanted about £400 for the engine and about £100 for the rear subby.
Caistor are a tad expensive.

Yep, he selling up next week and retiring, the rear subby is still there.
I was told that the engine was a 1275 and that it was ok condition just needed abit of tinkering.
I can remember it when it went in but i didnt have a look at it as we was looking for some other bits to put in the back of the van.
I think £50 is good for the rest of it seeing it has got a mint rear end.
Is there one in rimars?

you killed a mini ;D

I didnt kill it!!
the person who set fire to it, cut the roof and bent it up and attacked it with an oxy-acentaline blow torch killed it!!
Im saving it from the crusher!

Now all we need to do is sort out the spot welds out on 'X' then we can put the rear panel on and get it all welded up.
