My trackday mini needs some better pads as the current ones that came with the mini sport ally 4 pot conversion kit fade even after 1 heavy application in the road

They use metro 4 pot pads (but a bit modified ) and bearing in mind it is built for trackdays rather than the road (generally the road mileage is to and from trackdays) my options are

mintex 1144
Green stuff
Mintex 1155
Red stuff

When I used to run on stock cooper S brakes I used green stuff without fade issues

Thoughts and opinions please

will depend on the track as well, red are for a higher temp than green so to chose between them, you have to consider what temperature the pads are likely to be throughout the race. You say you never had fade with greens, so i would stick with them. There is no reason to use reds if green are adequate. Im not sure about the mintex pads however i hear they are very slightly better in terms of performance however its not by much!
