i am from caterham found this site while i was browsing the web and liked the look of it and thought i would join and iam the recent owner of a mini thirty which is currebtly being restored with help from my father, also very nuts about minis in general and my father owns a 1964 mini moke one of the main reasons i love minis and thats about it

I lived in the UK for a few years and brought down a Rover Mini MPI with me back to South Africa. 

 

Although it's great fun, when something goes wrong, most parts have to come from the UK...

I am a 19 year old from Wiltshire and I found TMF just by looking on the internet

 

I currently don't own a mini however I am looking to purchase one in the (hopefully) near future, potentially as a restoration project to bring one of these little gems back to life :)

Hi All,

I'm from Wiltshire and can barely fit in a Mini. I found TMF via Google looking for tech answers for my A Series engine in my Westfield XI. I do have an AC Dodd cam in my rebuild engine, so there's some crossover!

Got to admit, I love ASeries engines, and have read Vizard's Big Book from cover to cover!

I am Richard and live in Raleigh, North Carolina ,USA . I have in the past owned several Minis starting 1n 1962 850 Morris ,1963 Mini Cooper, 1964 Austin Mini Cooper S 1070 ,1965 Austin Mini Cooper S 1275. It has been 35 years since owning a Mini. I have always had a soft spot in my heart for the Minis and was not really planing on getting any more as I am now 72 years of age. Than I found one on E Bay it was listed as a 1981 Austin Mini Vtec. I found this quite interesting and Bid on the car and now have it in my garage. I have been working on it for several weeks .I found the forum while looking for information on Minis configured with the Honda conversions.
