I stumbled across the forum after banging my head on my Mini's bonnet catch for two days, trying to figure out why my headlights kept cutting out. Long story short, the previous owner butchered her wiring loom so badly that, to mend it properly, I'll have to get a replacement. But the wiring diagrams and handy hints you lot posted kept me rolling until I took her off the road.
 
I'm just waiting to get her in the body shop now, as I recently found some sizeable holes in the rear wheel arches.

I race a 1964 Mini Cooper S in Group No ( formerly Appendix J) and am based near Sydney
