Ok, Cowboy says I need new tyres soon for my Mini and he wants to get them done soon since he is off to "sunnier places" by the end of the week. We have the choice of taking my Mini into the shop to get new tyres fitted, or a set of Minilites with Yokohoma tyres used (about 100 miles) for £350 ono.

What do you all think? Time is running out here so think fast.

the Alloys should look like this
Minilites

dont have a pic of what I have on now, but I do still have the original hubcaps.

Thanks

If they've only done 100miles then there prewtty much brand new?! And the yokos are good tyres, thats what i'd do, get some spangly alloys on the cheap while you can!

Get the alloys. 350 pounds is a bargain for a alloys with a good pair of tires like the yokohama's. Are both the alloys and the tires used for 100 miles or are the alloys older?

350 pounds a bargain?

are they original minilites? if not i recently bought some minilite-style alloys with brandnew falken tyres on them for 100 quid... can't see the bargain...

and think of one thing the yokos are very soft so don't last very long. what i want to say is have you got enough money to buy new tyres soon again? :cheese:

if not... start saving...

wow tyres must be cheap overthere. Here, if you can even get them the yoko's alone would be about 250 pounds. And brand new minilites only a 100 miles old should be as good as new. They are worth a hundred pounds. If not I am definitly moving to the UK.

Whoa falk where from, i paid £105 for 5, 12*6's which i had to recondition an them put new tyres on after 4 months, that £350 still sounds cheap 2 me.

don't get me wrong...
i'm not saying that you could find a bargain like i did on every corner (than it wouldn't be a bargain... :cheese: )...

i was just wondering about saying it's a bargain to get 4 wheels for 350 quid... that's an offer that you definitely get more frequently.
350 is okay, may seem cheap... but a bargain? i don't know...

Theres a garage near me who does Michelin tyres. He can get them for pretty much any size rim...

My mam has 13" alloys on her capp and It cost her £19.99 for a tyre! :-

He said I can get Some Michelin Tyres for my mini for as little as £15 each!
