I paint mine with cellulose car paint from the local paint supliers, which also means you get a wide range of colours to choose from. It copes with the heat really well and is easy to use, not like the engine and hi-temp paints that you buy from Halfrauds that are really thick and stringy.

Ive noticed that most of your engine bays are pretty empty and all painted.
My engine bay is all covered with instulation and it all looks very busy and packed out.
I dont want to start messing around with it, So im leaving it, But I was just wondering why you all take the instulation out?
Or is mine strange for having it?

Just painted my engine gunmetal, looks pretty cool with a couple of little bits sprayed chrome too, all the ancillaries are black aswell.
had it painted with smooth blue hammerite before that which was pretty cool.
