It shouldn't be. It should be a Jaguar.

Ford made a terrible mistake of buying absolutely everything that they could, just because they could... Jaguar, Aston Martin and Jaguar amongst others were quickly swept up...

now, Aston are back in british hands Land Rover have almost been bought by another firm and Jaguar i believe either have been or are in the process of being sold off too...

it'll be a while before we see original designs again as the last of the Ford concepts are being put into production... the new Land Rover's exactly the same... looks like a typical ford concept...

I heard that Land Rover and Jaguar have been/are being sold to an Indian company (could be japanese, can't remember :)?) - And that they were going to get rid of Jaguar altogether!? :o

Wish I could actually remember everythings that I've been told and not just half :o

Hush - Deep Purple (I don't think it's the Kula Shaker cover... :) )

It certainly sounds like the Deep Puple original - it definitely isn't Kula Shaker.

Gotta love the sound of the Hammond organ! Great tune.

Land Rover and Jag are being sold to Tata (the company who are making the words cheapest car), but rumour has it that Tata are selling Jag off straight away...

Yep...a cover of the Joe South song Hush by the mighty Purps (Mk 1 version), from their "Shades of Deep Purple" album (1968) and also a single .....but not with Ian Gillan on vocals (Rod Evans)..or Roger Glover on bass (Nick Simper) which is why it doesn't sound quite like the Deep Purple sound that most people are familiar with! :)

i'll have a listen to the ad later... i've just listened to both versions of the song, and i'm undecided as to which one it is...

Tata are buying up quite a few British firms! Bought a large steel producer that was based in Sheffield aswell. Land Rover and Jag are being sold as one item as Ford didnt want to get stuck with one of them so sold both together.
