Still not too sure what you mean, Rover Minis are original Minis! If you mean an older Mini then mirrors from one of those wouldn't fit directly without using an adaptor plinth as before 1980 the mirrors used were the Tex type that are still available as an accessory and were fitted to a great many classic cars. From 1980 the mirrors used were the plastic type and the fittings were changed to the setup that you have so any mirrors from any Mini made after 1980 will fit directly (unless they are aftermarket type mirrors fitted to the car by a previous owner). I hope that's clear!
