Yeah I think I want a little spiderling so I can watch it grow. I was thinking about going back there this weekend.
Yeah Im sure someone would go through every spider they have there with me if I wanted. Thanks for the tips!

I've had a carolina cornsnake that got to about 5 foot, it was fun while it was small but he got to be a bit of a handful when he got bigger, making daring escape attempts and confusing my fingers for food pretty regularly despite daily handling so I'd not reccomend one as a first snake, I hear pythons are much more friendly. While at ui we kept triops for a bit, they are in a similar ilk to seamonkeys but they look like 1-2 inch stingrays, they were pretty cool. One of them grew a bit faster than the others and ate his entire family which was unkind. Currently an african Mbu pufferfish lives in my lounge, shes about two foot now and very nice looking. Its a shame my flatmates 5 foot bloody tank takes up half the lounge but hey.

I have got two Royal Pythons, a Boa Constrictor, two Bearded Dragons and two Water Dragons!!! (And two Staffordshire Bull Terriers!!!)
Never really fancied a spider, but as my friend who owns a Reptile Shop has said many a time, you have got to be careful with things like red knee tarantula's as they get very aggressive as they get older. I used to have a Tokay Gecko - sounds really cute, innocent and small...... but it was the most aggressive and evil thing i've ever had!!! Steer well clear of them!
If you want a snake Royal Pythons are the perfect starter, along with corn snakes etc. I got my Royals when they were only a few weeks old so they would get used to being handled, and now they are about 4.5ft long and should still grow a little more, but are still as tame as the day i got them.
If you want a lizard, then by far the easiest is a Bearded Dragon, they are instantly tame and great fun. My pair run all over the place at night when i let them out! Fun trying to catch them though!!!
If you were closer to me i'd take you to my mates shop as he is the most knowledgable bloke i know. He even has at his house three croc's in an outside enclosure, four Gaboon Vipers, two Rattlesnakes and a King Cobra!!! He has to have house visits every few months to keep his D.W.A license, and he has had to spend a fortune on double-doors, CCTV and alarms systems - just so he can keep them!!!
BARNEY - My male Staffie!

PUMPKIN - My female Staffie! (When she was a pup!)

HARVEY - One of my Royal Python's!

FRED - One of my Bearded Dragon's! (Sorry about the rubbish pic - dont understand why it's gone funny
