Just like to bring it to everybodies attention that i have secured myself a 1275 engine out of the Mg metro that i park my mini next to every day on my drive! Just had to convince dad! LOL

I got a 1275 MG Metro engine too! But mine's got a duplex chain and a mini sport cam already fitted, oh, and new rings, bearings and seals, should be a beauty when it's all fitted...

I was thinking about getting one of those put in but I'm happy with the performace / fuel economy at the mo!

Oh yea just to let u all in on a secret its not an MG engine!, got an MG head in the garage tho. So I'll slap that 1 on.

Thats a shame. MG engine has 72 brake standard! You might only have 55 or 63 otherwise.

i know but this engine is very reliable or has been for the past year also in that year the oil hasn't needed topping up so it's not burning it or leaking. And my engine is on its last legs anyway
