My engine bay has undergone many evolutions over the years, but this is the most recent, completed during lockdown. Full smoothed bay and painted Cadbury purple with big gold and purple metal flake. The engine is a Specialist Components 1380 K1200rs swap.  :mrcool:

Properly stunning, I don't think there are many Minis that could rival that engine bay!

Here's my attempt at putting a bit of a modern twist on the classic Mk1 / Cooper S engine bay. Currently running on a temporary single carb setup while I get my twin HS4s sorted - it should look a lot better once those are back on!

The Bodgwell badge is my own design, which is basically a ripoff of the original Speedwell rocker plates from back in the '60s.

I did trial fit the twin carbs while I was getting the engine swap sorted, and I love the look, just a shame they weren't working properly at the time - I needed to get the car running for Goodwood so the old single HS4 was whacked on to get it fired up for now.

Yes mate I have an OBP Performance pedal box fitted. It was a lot of work but it works well!
