Hi all i want to convert the front to a flip front using the original panels. Is it possible to remove the front end with minimul if not no damage in one peice to reuse?

im sure if your really careful and plan it out you may get away with cutting it off and using it. reeeally careful!
be good if the front panels were all good enough to reuse.

Has anyone on here done this, i can see looking under the car at the seems etc it would be easy to remove but its weather it will damage and distort. All panels are in great condition think it would be worth putting some sort of brace accross the wings to stop them flexing when it finaly comes away. Also it will be a reverse flip front to.

I have seen some one do this but, He wasn't happy with the finish afterwards, it its hard to end of the wing to line up against the scuttle panel, He was was quite a skilled skilled mechanic, Have a Go if you dont like it go Fiberglass or carbon!
