Went and ordered the repair panels last week from the local motor factors which came in the next day so this weekend i've started to sort out the rusty back arches. Main issue was that you can't get pattern rear arches for a crx just a full rear 1/4 from honda which is mega £££'s. I've got hold of a pair of arch repairs for a 3 door civic of the same age because they're a very similar fit, just a different curve where they meet the bumper and need an extra step in them by the sill, but they only cost £20 a side...

O/S wasn't too bad, even after jabbing with a screwy so i've only used a small section of the panel.

N/S was gone in a few places all the way round so i've chopped the lot out and used the whole panel, had to make up the inner arch aswell because that had gone when i poked at it.

Tacked in place ready to weld up fully

Just in the middle of giving both sides a skim of filler to get them nice and smooth, then its onto paint and hoping i can get a decent match and finish. If not i'll matt black the whole thing i think.

Tempted to remove the spoiler and rear wiper aswell while i've got my welder back, will see how much work it needs under there first.

How do the front wings look Nick? I've got a friend who has a couple in good nick collecting dust.

the front wings are ok dude but cheers for the offer

Tom, no chance of any gash halfords type rims on it, the TSW's on it atm are bad enough.

cars changed a little bit since me last post on here. have fitted the new wheels, proper induction kit, done the back arches and fitted some headlights that i'm not too keen on yet but the light from them is a lot better at night...

here's a vid of it from the weekend at santa pod.

yeah feels very cliquey, not so friendly at all.
Still heaps of good info on their.

I wanted the B but went for the D as it will be cheaper if it goes wrong. Its for track/fast road use so not a DD.
