Weather forecast is four days of soggyness & misery down South. :-
I wanted to put the new wheels on the gt, get the new battery & start decrustifying the engine. :) And Matilda needs a thorough valet. I can't do that in the rain because the vacuum cleaner will electrocute me..... :D

Ye saying that i just looked at the weather forcast for the weekend and i dont think i could hit the ball taht far in 80mph winds!! I also need to clean the mini. I have washed it once in three months :- just dont seem to get the time. KInside is always clean tho, cant stand an untidy car inside. And its white so it shows all the dirt outside!!

Could always stick the hoover in a black bag while hoovering. I have done some silly things with electrics outside

Nooooo! Hoover's need cool air to keep the motor going! If you put it in a black bag it will over heat and blow up! >_< :D

Toad needs a good clean and some little rusty spots sorting out (where Sy dropped his mountain bike on her a few weeks ago...tut tut)... But like you all say, I don't fancy doing it in a hurricane!!!!!

I will be refitting the cylinder head over the weekend, if I get it back in time. Had to have it skimmed as it was out by 5 thou, had it converted to unleaded aswell, and new valve guides.

But also working saturday and sunday, 8.30-5.30 >_< So will only be working on the mini at night

No real mini activity this weekend - other than rebuilding my clutch master cyl. Big push should be next weekend and over the easter hols - headlining/windscreens and a few niggly mechanical bits and hopefully I should then be close to MOT ready for spring!

As for this weekend I'm running the Silverstone Half Marathon so I'm hoping the weather will be reasonable......
