iv gotta fit my new fuel pump as mine is on its way out but dunno if i can brave the gales out there shouldnt take too long as its *hopefully* gonna be a 10 min job but wiv these old beauts they never are, am out on the raz tonight so if it all goes pete tong ill compensate wiv an extra beverage

Put the fibreglass bonnet on to measure up and see where I'm putting the pins. Only problem is I have to put the metal bonnet back on to use the car

I really hate the UK for everything.

+ Kenwood 'rear deck' speakers, not enough length in the wires supplied to reach the back of a mini for God's sake. What a load of tosh > > >

Well Ive done my work on mine now. The rear suspension is all done and it solved the grinding problem I was having. The weather was dreary all day but just held off which was great.

Tomorrow is clean and polish day.

Got the engine almost ready to go, some fettling tomorrow, and it should, I hope.

Tomorrow ill be changing the clutch release bearing as its shot, bleeding the brakes and adjusting the rear drums up (again) stripping the interior and putting my seats on ebay! think thats it... Oh and house hunting

Wiring again today. Got the radio harness installed, wired up a button for the horn, renewed the wiring for the door pins for the interior light, the drivers side wire had been shorting behind the dash, hence the interior light being on permenant, wrapped yet more of the loom in the cloth tape to give it that OE look and then gave the rest of the electrics a general once over to make sure everything still works.

I'l be doing more of the same tomorrow as it got too cold in the garage even with the gas heaters on....... plus i got bored lol

i dont think any work this weekend...or whats left of it. had to get the bus to brighton yesterday as RAC are still messing me around with my cover. i was really up for cruising along brighton seafront listening to davey pearce as well . came back tonight to see my poor ickle mini sitting out in the rain. then got called into town for the most depressing couple of drinks EVER!!! twas truely awful. drove back and nearly broke down...i hope it was the rain. tucked her into her car cover. found out chelsea lost and now im here. its 12.30, im bored, i need a poo but cant be bothered to move and ive got work tomorrow! AND they havnt paid me for 3 months and im getting so angry about it as i have MOT next month and really really need that money! *slowly breathes in and out* better! Rant over

...on the plus side i did put new exhaust rubbers on on thursday so i dont get horrible rattles anymore and got some new gaskets. still have a growing list of work for it tho.
