I'll ask Ben babes, he was a manager at Phones4U up until about 2 weeks ago. They used to throw phones and money at people - myself and all my mates got £100-150 cashback with our phone deals!

But they con you so badly...
I had the same thing done abut a year ago with a 18 month contract.

They told me it would be £30 a month and id get insurance for a fiver..

They charged me a tenner for insurance so i cancelled it..
I then got charged £45 for my contract and i hadnt gone over at all.....

phones 4 u blamed vodafone and vodafone blamed phones4u
I found myself without a leg to stand on and just continued paying till i could change my contract to the cheaper 1!

Id stay away from phones4U to be honest!
Soon as this ends I'm going back with o2.. they are the best and dont *yellow human water* you about.

Try www.dialaphone.co.uk

I've just got a free Nokia 6300 (classy small phone) on a £35 per month contract giving me 600 minutes and 500 texts with 02....

and a FREE PLAYSTATION 3!!!

The internet deals are so much better than on the high street. You can get a free 19" Samsung HD LCD TV, Ipod, XBox360, Nintendo Wii, even GHD Hair Straighteners!!

even the Carphone Warehouse website offers much better deals online than in their branches.

Worth considering ...

I sent my Nokia 7900 back and have ordered an N95. It's much more of a 'standard' nokia but is bulky and has GPS/sat nav  which will be good for my birmingham trip next week!

And I managed to wangle 600 anyone/anytime minutes, and unlimited texts, for £25 a month! :)

i dropped my phone in paint about 2 months ago now so im 12 months into an 18 month contract
just been on the phone with 02 i decided not to go through sales the 2nd time as that woman was nasty !!

the guy i spoke to said hed try something "see if i can get a rabbit out of a hat" unfortunatley he couldnt get a rabbit out of the hat so no new phone. it wasnt insured so i guess thats the price you pay!

although he suggested going to an 02 shop and see what they can do you as a contract customer buying a pay as you go phone, obvioulsy as he works for them he couldnt say how much his 02 shop replacemtn cost him :o but hey always worth a shot right ?
