but if the caliper spacers are provided as a kit i don't think anone should fear in seperating the caliper unless you can get the correct torque settings for the bolts....!!!

yeah, but i dont think those spacers are designed for metro calipers, they are made for minispares alloy calipers, part number C-AJJ 4022

It all makes sense. I am a mechanic but im new to the mini scene. I am going all out on my first mini with a total rebuild and fitting a flip front. Thanks again for everyones help and advise.
