any idea of where I could get it done. why does my number plate say in small letters undernieth.

I always saw Beans Mini as my Clubby's roundnose brother!! Same colour, wheels, tyres, similar arches... weird, and a shame its gone! :D

FancyPlates.com should be able to help you with the new plates your after... not badly priced either. One note is that all plates that dont have the makers postcode on them in small letters are not 100% legal now (i think that law came in a few years ago) so its entirely up to you if you use them for daily use and not just for shows. FancyPlates dont put a postcode on them.

I ran a set on my old Octy vRS for 3 years and never had a problem though.

As for the Mighty Mouse in small letters... can only assume that this is something a previous owner had put on the plates when made.

I nearly bought a brown clubby as my first car. Went to see it, it was spotless, had had an engine change to a 1000cc for some reason at some point, but not a bit of rust on it. However I got put off when I realised that the engine number VIN etc had all been scratched off / removed.

walked away.

Wish i'd bought it.
